Jacobsbaai Beach Cape West Coast South Africa

Situated on the Cape West Coast of South Africa, Jacobsbaai is a quiet seaside village, sometimes referred to as the "Namaqualand" of the West Coast. Set against a breathtaking coastline of contrasts with rocky outcrops and sandy bays with a cobalt blue sea, Jacobsbaai is a village of white-washed houses, dirt roads and a shop as big as a postage stamp.
A mere 145km (1½ hours drive) from Cape Town, 20km from Paternoster, Langebaan around the bend and Saldanha next door, it is centrally situated to explore the breathtaking West Coast region and attractions.

Jacobsbaai has a hidden gem named "Moerie-se-baai". (Moerie's bay). This secluded tidal pool offers protection from the often stormy Atlantic Ocean and this is where you will find the Boat House. Where you can swim in the Atlantic ocean at high tide in luke warm water!
Where you can stroll down to the beach, a mere 50m away.
Where you sit and wait for low tide to catch fresh crayfish to be enjoyed with a glass of white wine from the area.

The Boat House is a an romantic spot for two in an open plan loft, under the thatched roof of one of the holiday homes. It offers a double bed (linen and towels provided), full bathroom, kitchenette equipped with two-plate stove, convection microwave, kettle and toaster. It also has a colour TV and DVD player, a private entrance and a sundeck with a table and chairs from where you can enjoy the sea views and dramatic sunsets over the ocean. The deck has a built-in braai (barbeque).
